“A big thank-you to our Facilitators and Participants following our STP (Safety Transformation Program) Core Team Training held last week with personnel from our Australian & New Zealand operations being one of the last to undergo this training.
This training marks a key moment and line in the sand for our business as we embark on our Safety Transformation journey. I would like to make special mention of Dave Vrijsen who ably led us through our 5 days of training and coaching. Your instruction on facilitating impactful safety discussions and safety visits, active listening, inquisitive attitudes and affective vs effective communication, challenged us to be better safety leaders.
Thank you for setting the framework and giving us to the tools to take us forward on our Safety Transformation journey including embedding our MSR’s (Management Safety Routines) and viewing these as more than just a task, narrowing our attention to focus on the high-risk SIF potential hazards and reinforcing our We Get Home messaging and branding so that we may have a positive safety impact and influence on our current employees, contractors and sub-contractors and those who will work with us in the future.
